Ghosts of the dead swirl around Jessie Reynolds seeking her help. Two bodies have washed ashore in Blue Cove. When a third body is discovered evidence links the victims to a group of missing college students. A fourth student is still missing and the spirits will not rest until he is found.
Police Chief Matt Parker, the love of Jessie’s life, will have to handle this case alone. Further investigation shows the murders are more than local hate crimes. Matt finds himself targeted by the same suspects as the victims and must rely on experience and training to survive.
It will take more than his skills to bring the criminals to justice and survive what they have planned for him. He will need Jessie and the spirits’ otherworldy help to make it back alive. Will love triumph over evil and give Jessie and Matt a chance at love?

What fun! A romance, and ghosts amidst a gruesome murder mystery. This was such a treat to narrate. Loved working with Iona and the Wild Rose Press. Looking forward to reading and maybe narrating the rest of the series.
Only a fool crosses a god, but Ellaeva and Lyram will do anything to get what they want.
An amazing epic fantasy with a romantic twist, In The Company Of The Dead -wonderfully written and a page turner to say the least. Winner of “Best Book: Fantasy” in the 2016 Pinnacle Book Achievement Awards
I found myself getting emotional narrating this one, as the characters are very vulnerable yet strong, accessable yet guarded. Ciara Ballentyne is a wonderful author who will truly make you feel that you are part of the action during fight scenes and a good old castle seige!
Necromancers and spectres, and as many plot twists as castle corridors. You won’t want to stop listening until you get to the end! I was very happy to to narrate this wonderful book!
This book was such a joy for me to narrate. The author Penny Burwell Ewing is a former cosmetologist, and her book is situated around a death within a salon owned by three sisters and their mother, in Georgia.
I am also in the hair business being a salon manager for a corporate salon, so this book was right up my alley. A northern transplant to the south, being able to play out my inner southern accent was a blast!
Being an avid reader, I also appreciated Penny’s writing very much. She is witty and engaging with just a touch of sass.
Thank you Penny and The Wild Rose Press Inc. for letting me have the pleasure of being the Claibornes for a little while. The book is a fun read!
