Dixieland dead

This book was such a joy for me to narrate. The author Penny Burwell Ewing is a former cosmetologist, and her book is situated around a death within a salon owned by three sisters and their mother, in Georgia.

I am also in the hair business being a salon manager for a corporate salon, so this book was right up my alley. A northern transplant to the south, being able to play out my inner southern accent was a blast!

Being an avid reader, I also appreciated Penny’s writing very much. She is witty and engaging with just a touch of sass.

Thank you Penny and The Wild Rose Press Inc. for letting me have the pleasure of being the Claibornes for a little while. The book is a fun read!
